Tap any key word in the passage and a simple picture appears. It is a built-in support that helps new English learners read grade-level text with confidence.

PURPOSE
This page holds the Grade 5 Content Language Support passages, one for every cluster.
RATIONALE
Each passage is the same grade-level reading the class already uses, with key words a student can tap to see a simple picture. A student still learning English reads the real text instead of a separate, easier one.
HOW TO USE THIS PAGE
Choose the cluster you are teaching and open its passage. Let the student tap any highlighted word to see its picture.
