Interpreting performance
Every task is scored against the same rubric and the same thinking levels, so a score names not just right or wrong but where the student is on the path to proficiency.
When a thinking level repeats across a class, the materials point to the matching support and stretch moves, so a trend turns into a next step rather than a note.
The diagnostic places a student into the right support, and the same measure at the end shows when the goal is met, so entry and exit rest on the same evidence.
